Tree Removal There are two main ways of removing trees from an area of land. One way is to use a machine to remove trees from your property. There are several different types of machines that are used to clear trees from land. We will choose the machine that makes sense for the type of trees on your land and the type of landscape we are working with. Trees can also be removed by hand. This method is more expensive and time consuming, but in some instances, it is not safe to use large equipment to remove trees. Wood Disposal A question that many people have regarding the land clearing process is, what will be done with all the excess wood? Wood can be burned either at the time of clearing, or saved to burn in the future. A grinder can create mulch of the wood to be used in further landscaping on the property. Wood can also be dumped offsite and allowed to decay naturally. If the wood is desirable then it could be very cost effective to try and sell the wood to a sawmill. Wood can even be pulped and sold to manufacturing companies to make different kinds of paper products. Stump Removal When it comes to clearing land there are many ways to remove a stump. It is very inexpensive to bury a stump with dirt. You can also have the stump ground all the way down to the surface. If there is a lot of dirt and debris attached to the roots of a stump, the stump may not be able to go in a grinder and will need to be hauled off the land and left to rot elsewhere. Some stumps are suitable to be relocated and used to provide erosion control. Clean Up We also provide clean up services after the removal and as a part of the clearing process. Properties that have lots of trees will also have lots of roots that could cause problems for future construction projects. After trees, stumps and roots are all removed, the land will need to be leveled so that there are no major dips or holes, making it easier to develop and build upon. |
